Tara is a Harlingen, Texas native. With a background in gymnastics and cheerleading, Tara was naturally drawn to yoga. Even though there are some similarities, it was the freedom she found through yoga that kept her coming back. Through yoga, she was able to discover the subtle alchemy of breathwork, meditation, and movement as a way to calm her mind and body. This internal practice allowed her to tune into herself and find the solution and spark she had searched for. As a Yoga Teacher, her goal is to share the gift of yoga and the empowerment and growth it fosters. She strives to create a space where students can feel safe, supported, and heard.
Tara believes that by showing up on our mats, we learn more about ourselves through the medicine of breath, mediation, and asana. She feels that no matter where you start, with dedication and consistency, the transformation is truly incredible and that every BODY can practice yoga.
Tara obtained her 200 RYT - Yoga Alliance Certification through the RGV Yoga School – Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi in 2023. In her free time, she performs live singing gigs around town.
